Set above the Aveyron Gorge among medieval hilltop villages our stylishly restored 2 bedroom farmhouse has been completely refurbished in 2017 and offers lovely views and a taste of peaceful French living. The cottage is in a tiny hamlet on a quiet country lane just 2 Km from the village of Laquépie, approx 1½ hours drive north-east of Toulouse.

The house offers:
- Entrance hall with sofa, TV and office corner, incl. wifi
- Master bedroom with double bed (160 x 200)
- Bedroom with 2 single beds (80x200). Each can be extended to make room for a total of 4  persons
- Sitting/dining room with sofabed and extension bed
- Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, freezer, microwave...
- Bathroom with shower
- Private garden with pool 4x7 (open from 2nd June to mid-October)

Relax on the terraces, laze around the pool or BBQ in the totally private garden or walk down to the Petit Casino grocery in the village. Laguepie, a friendly village with two rivers, has shops, markets, bars, restaurants.

Swimming is very popular from a pontoon in the river Viaur which is overlooked by a lovely ruined castle which is beautifully floodlit at night.

This is great walking country and a wonderful location for bird watching, butterflies and wildflowers.

Leisure activity close by includes canoeing and kayaking on the river Aveyron from several points, horse-riding, tennis and fishing. Mountain biking and road cycling are very popular sports in the area.

There are several medieval villages (bastides) nearby including Najac and Cordes-sur-Ciel. Larger towns include Albi, Villefranche- de- Rouergue, Montauban, and Cahors. The nearest airports are Toulouse and Rodez.
